2.5. Engage stakeholders

Different stakeholders should be involved in different steps of the process, this is in addition to the PCF core team that oversees the entire process. It is important to conduct an extensive stakeholder analysis to determine the different roles stakeholders should play. Stakeholders include:

  • Regional and district staff in relevant health services (TB, HIV, paediatric, public health, etc.)
  • Patient representatives
  • WHO (global/regional/country levels)
  • Local community-based organizations
  • Local partner organizations
  • International partner organizations
  • Multisector organizations outside the health sector
  • Private sector providers/ organizations
  • Relevant line ministries and departments

A stakeholder mapping exercise can be conducted to ensure the right stakeholders participate  in the different activities.
