5. Engage stakeholders

In addition to the PCF core team that oversees the entire process, it is important to conduct an extensive stakeholder analysis. Different stakeholders will be involved in different steps of the process:

  • Regional and district staff in relevant health services (TB, HIV, pediatric, public health, etc.)

  • Patient representatives

  • WHO (global/regional/country levels)

  • Local community-based organizations

  • Local partner organizations

  • International partner organizations

  • Multisector organizations outside the health sector

  • Private sector providers/ organizations

  • Relevant line ministries and departments

A stakeholder mapping exercise can be undertaken to ensure the right stakeholders are invited for the different activities.
